Yes… Supernatural Relates to Everything

Any Supernatural Fans out there among my readers? If so, awesome! #winchesterwednesday #spnfamily

Anywho… asides from posting the hashtags to call out to my people, I came across this quote today when looking at my Instagram.deanwin

As a writer you need to always be learning, reading, and growing in your knowledge regarding the topic(s) you’re covering. What you don’t realize is the more you read the more dangerous you become. Like how I’ve been researching poisonous plants or torturous ways to kill someone… or how hard it is to cut people into pieces using a broadsword…

I could list more but I don’t want to be put onto any more watch lists…

So, when I saw this quote today I couldn’t help but giggle. Yes, it isn’t an actual writing quote but like anything from Supernatural – it can relate to what a writer feels like at some moments in their life.

I know a little of a lot of things because I’m a writer… and that makes me dangerous. XD

5 Days Left of Contest!

All right, so there are only five days left of the ‘If I had 100 Dollars‘ Contest that I posted last Tuesday. So far there haven’t been any entries…

No worries, I have faith that someone will post to this contest and if not… I’ll donate the Monday to two charities that I think would benefit from the donations.

So, without further delay I will repost what you need to do for this contest below:

The rules are as follows:

Write a Blog Post no less than 100 and no more than 3000 words with the title – If I Had 100 Dollars

The post will be about a charity that’s main focus is about children, education, or literacy. (There are a lot of options out there for these… I know… I’ve looked…)

The post should talk briefly about the charity and why you think they deserve the donation. What made you choose this charity? Why do you want me to choose this charity? Also include a link to the charity site (so I can check it out and learn more about the charity you have written about).

If you don’t want to blog or can’t blog, send me your post by email.

Tweet me the link to your post @DProphecy6 or email me at

The end date for this will be FEBRUARY 15TH, 2016.

NOW, what will I do and what will the winners get:

  1. I will either reblog or post the charity winners on my site on FEB 15th, 2016.
  2. I will print screen the completed transactions of the donations to my blog by FEB 16th, 2016.
  3. I will also follow the winners’ blog and reblog seven of their posts.
  4. The winners will also get a signed paperback version of the first and (eventually) second P6 book.

Wonderful Word Wednesday: Snuggery

Right now I’m sitting in what I’d call the snuggery of my apartment. The word snuggery pertains to a cozy little room or place in a house.

In 16 days I will be leaving my current snuggery in search of a newer snuggery closer to my family. It will be nice to be closer than 18 hours from where I grew up. I’ll get to see people I haven’t seen for six years.

Anyways… I honestly don’t think I need to give you examples of how to use snuggery in a sentence since I used them throughout this post. XD
