Sharing My Unedited Writing Experiences & Life Experiences.

Wishing You All A…

I want to thank you all of you for the love and support I’ve gotten from all of you over the year. You help motivate me and many of you have helped with reviewing, beta reading, and editing my books. Without you the Prophecy Six Series wouldn’t have gotten to a second book and without all of you this blog wouldn’t have made it past a year.

I want to wish all of you happiness and health in the New Years, and love and joy this holiday season.

Until next time stay safe, be creative, and as always toodles! 🙂

UPDATE: 75 Copies Left!!

Hello World Out There World!75copiesleft

There are officially 75 free copies left of book one. Which I think is pretty awesome after one day of being into this contest. I am still hoping to get to the finish line but so far I am so happy that some of you have go above and beyond with helping me by reblogging or reposting my link to your social media. You know who you are! 🙂

I said I’ll keep you posted about things so I am…

I’d like to also update you on the progress of book 2 – Children of Sirphan. We now have 6 beta readers so I am no longer taking any more at this time.

Thank you all again for this love and support during this contest and until next time – toodles! o^.^o

So, I woke up this morning to find that 12 of you wonderful people have come together to download a FREE copy of my book. That is such an amazing feeling and I can’t thank you all enough for all those who are sharing, reviewing, or reposting to help us get to the goal of being on the publishing list. I hope that we can keep this going and reach 0 before October 30 as there are already so many people close to the finish line already. But I’m keeping my hopes up and my head held high – because even if I don’t win I know I have a readership that has my back and that is a wonderful thing to know.

Anyways, hugs and loves to you all for helping me out. If we do win I will have to figure out a way to repay all of you for getting use to this goal. Any suggestions? XD

I’ll keep you all updated on what is going on when there is something to update but until next time – toodles! o^.^o

5 Star Review & Author Interview

Hello World Out There World!

So, it has been a while since I’ve had anything to share regarding my books and that’s why I’m happy to tell you that Child of the Light got another 5 star review. At the moment it have 4 stars on Goodreads, 4.5 stars on iTunes, 4.5 stars on Amazon,  and now 5 stars from Serious Reading. (No one has rated me on Smashwords or Kobo yet, so I couldn’t share my stats from them).

Mind is blown… cannot function…

Anyways, in all seriousness if you are interested in reading the review check out the link HERE.

Also, they posted an author interview with me HERE – if any of you want to learn a little more about me. I talk about what inspired me to write the series, my thoughts on mental health, and other interesting topics I have yet to share in my blog.

Thank you all! Thank you all who have rated my books and left reviews. I also want to thank all of those on my blog (old and new) for your continued support, comments, and likes. Prophecy Six is growing slowly but it wouldn’t be growing if I didn’t have any of you. 🙂

Until next time stay safe, get creative, and as always toodles!

Hello World Out There World!

It feels like just last week I was posting about how amazing you all are for following me and getting me to 500 followers… but now I’m at 600!

I don’t know what I can possibly say or due to thank all of your for this amazing achievement. It feels like just yesterday that I started this blog but in reality it has been about a year. With all your amazing support I was able to publishing one book and now I’m working on publishing my second… and have been distracted with drafting book 3. XD

Thank you all so much and I look forward to sharing my stories/ experiences with all of you more once I’ve gotten things settled again. (Starting a new job and trying to create a new schedule isn’t fun. Adulting is hard – don’t grow up kids!)

Anyways, that’s all I wanted to share with you… well that and 4 months until book 2 – Children of Sirphan! I’m so excited and you all just made my day with this.

Remember to stay safe, get creative, and have fun – and until next time TOODLES!

Hello World Out There World!

As of August 4th, 2016 this blog just turned 1 year! Here are some fun insights as to what this blog as achieved!

In 1 year P6 has published one book and has a second in the works.

It has over 550 followers and growing.

I have written over 415 posts. (This is 416).

Thanks to all of you I have reached over 10,000 views and 4,700 visitors.

Compared to when we started this journey this blog has surpassed in both views, visitors, and followers.

That is amazing. You are all amazing and I can’t thank you enough for all the support you’ve given me. Over this year I have met new people, reached goals I never thought I’d reach, and had amazing discussions with others that I consider my peers.

What I am hoping to do over the next year is to find ways to engage you all. Maybe run a Q&A once a month, or find out more about what you want to see on this blog. That could mean more writing/ dialogue prompts, more old words, or just snippets of my writing. Whatever it is, my goal is to be more involved in this amazing community we have built and get to know more of you. 🙂

This may be the first anniversary of the Prophecy Six Blog but I promise you it will not be the last. I hope you will continue to be part of this journey with me.

Thank you all once more and HAPPY 1 YEAR, EVERYONE!!

P6 Blog Has Reached 500 Followers!!

Oh my Gods!

So, August 4, 2015 was the first day I ever posted anything to this blog. I had no idea what direction it was going to go. There were no plans laid out as to what I wanted to write or do on this platform… but over time it was clear that a community of readers found something I was saying to be worthy of their precious time.

Today marks the day Prophecy Six Blog has reached 500 followers! That’s half of 1000 and that just blows my mind!

I want to thank all of you for supporting me in your various ways let it be sending me links to help with self-publishing, leaving comments that I love replying to, or just liking/ viewing my content when I post. Whatever you do, however you support me, it doesn’t go unnoticed. So, thank you.

As we have reached 500 followers I’m going to be making a special – What Inspires Me Post with helpful resources or videos that I like to watch when I need inspiration. Some may not be related to writing at all, and some you may consider completely ridiculous but I’ll share them anyway.

I would also like to do a book give away. As I have 500 followers I want to give away 5 signed paperback versions of Prophecy Six Book One – Child of the Light. What you need to do to consider yourself entered is:

  1. Like my Facebook Page
  2. Like this Post
  3. Comment Below

It’s that simple!!

This give away will be open until I have five people to give books to. So there will be no time restrictions for entering.

Now, with that said I have to now go organize all the stuff I want to put into the What Inspires Me post.

And until next time – toodles!

30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 12 – Blessings/Thanks

Five Blessings In My Life

Blessings seem like a religious thing, and although I’m not against religion – actually kudos to you for following one – it isn’t something for me. I like to think of myself as a spiritual agnostic, which is a fancy way of saying I embrace everyone for being who they are and believe there is a greater force out there but they may not be Allah, God, Yahweh or so on. Also I’m lazy…

So, now that’s clarified let’s change the title to ‘Five Things I’m Thankful For’.

  1. My parents. I wouldn’t be here without them – literally, I wouldn’t exist without my parents. They gave me life. They gave me a home. They love me and support me in all my choices… some more than others. But, I know if I needed anyone by my side they would be there.
  2. Mr. Canuck. He is my SO. Without him I would be a lonely dog lady typing away on my computer to all hours of the day… or living with my dad. Probably both to be honest. I love Mr. Canuck with his humour, his tenderness, his respect. Sure, he isn’t perfect. He can drive me up the wall sometimes, but no one is perfect. Gods know I’m hard to deal with. XD
  3. My job. Although not what I went to school for or what I imagined I would be doing for 8 hrs a day 5 days a week – I am thankful for it. The benefits are I’m getting better at math, I get to be organized with filing, and people come to me to solve their issues. Sure the pay isn’t the best, but the people I work with make up for it. Not to mention the experience this job is giving me in terms of out of school experience.
  4. Living in Canada. Not only do we have universal healthcare, beavers, and lakes – we also have winter. Not a plus for you? Well, I’ll be thankful to be living in -30/-40 if a Zombie Apocalypse occurs. Those biters will be frozen solid making them easy to kill.
  5. Air… because breathing water isn’t an option for me yet… although I can’t say I haven’t tried. 😛

That’s right – I’m thankful for my readers because without you I wouldn’t be so dedicated to working on this blog. (Sorry for the four days of no posts… I have family obligations but things should be back to normal now).

As you can see the seriousness of this list went downhill very fast. To be honest, I’m thankful for everything and everyone in my life. Without them I wouldn’t be me and I wouldn’t be where I am today.

Good way to end it, Dee. Yeah! *pats self on the back*
